Happy International Tatting Day

Happy International Tatting Day!!!

I have been very busy in the Piney Woods.  Unfortunately, I've not had much time to devote to transferring patterns and such to the new sites.  Our homeschool schedule is the busiest it has ever been.  This is Jocelin's senior year, so you can imagine how packed our schedules are!  Graduation is in May and then PREP (college orientation) at ULM for her and us.  Please know that I will eventually get everything up and running.  I need your patience just a bit longer.

Here is a sneak peek at a one of a kind necklace I'm working on.  It features size 8 Valdani Pearl Cotton in P4 and is accented with antique lavender colored freshwater pearls and champagne Czech seed beads:

Later this afternoon, I plan to take Rosie Fey to the park for a walk.  Afterwards I'll find a nice spot to sit, tat & enjoy International Tatting Day.  What are you doing, dear readers, to celebrate Tatting Day?

Well, I must get back to work on the necklace.  I've had a good idea for the next round but need to finish the one I'm currently tatting.  May you have a wonderful day & until the next time I can post~

Happy Tatting!

Lovely necklace -- I am eager to see photos of it finished. I am also glad you posted today. I am patient, but it's good to hear from you again -- I miss your tatting updates which are inspiring and hearing about Rosie Fey. Hope the rest of the school year goes well.
For International Tatting Day, I wore a pendant I tatted, gave away half a dozen tatted hearts, posted on Facebook a recent pin I embellished, and I had a chocolate milkshake.
Happy Tatting!

Love the necklace so far! For International Tatting Day I had a cup of tea, tatted in public (doctor's office) and ate 1 piece of chocolate. (Only thing out of the 'ordinary' was the chocolate. I bring tatting everywhere and drink tea almost every day. ;-) So glad you're back - I've missed you.
